Communication Techniques

It is very important for children to be taught the proper communications techniques when they answer the telephone.  This is extremely important when the parents are not home and the child is left alone.

  1. Learn how to answer the phone and ask the identity of the caller.
  2. Never tell that caller that you are home alone.
  3. Tell the caller that your parents are busy and take a number for the parents to call back!
